The GF-0163 6,5HP horizontal shaft petrol engine, GF-0163 is designed and guaranteed to operate in ambient temperatures between -5°C and 40°C at an altitude of maximum 1000m above sea level. Humidity must be less than 50% at 40°C. Can be stored or transported at ambient temperatures between -15°C and 55°C. At ambient temperature of 20°C, the oil can reach a maximum of 120°C. For temperatures below 40°C more frequent oil changes are required. If the engine intake air temperature exceeds 40°C or the altitude is above 1000m, the air density becomes lower and will cause a loss of engine power.

The 6.5HP horizontal shaft petrol engine, GF-0163 has the following characteristics:
- It is an air-cooled 4-stroke horizontal OHV type for increased efficiency and optimum power transfer. It features automatic decompression and recoil starter for easy starting;
-Low crankshaft supported with ball bearing for greater stability;
- Large, double-walled tank with in-tank fuel filter. Large, easy-to-fill, car-style cap;
- Automatic idle or throttle control for longer engine life, improved fuel economy and reduced noise.

- OverHead valve arrangement allows easier intake of the fuel mixture, plus faster and more complete exhaust. This increased combustion efficiency, in turn, allows the use of a higher compression ratio. This makes it possible to achieve higher power output and avoid carbon build-up in the chamber;
