How to use the pneumatic plastering machine :

-In principle you can use any type of mortar based on cement, water, sand, lime, plaster with medium grain size (2-5 mm);

-Mix the desired mortar until homogenised. It is not necessary to add water to soften the mortar. Follow the mortar recipe on the manufacturer's bag.

-Place the machine in a container with water in order to wet the bucket and to make the mortar glide easily. Do this repeatedly once every 10-12 loads to rinse the bucket and to avoid hardening or the mortar from hardening or penetrating into the gallery.

-When working with a single nozzle for the application of the splashing (the sprinkling that is given before plastering) use a normal mortar or a mortar slightly diluted 5% with water. The machine is not designed to work with ''cement soda''. The air pressure will be able to pulverise the thick mortar into very small splashes (grains of rice). Thus the mortar sprayed with a nozzle will penetrate very strongly into the pores of the brick / bca and will form an abrasive layer on the wall for a perfect and durable adhesion;

-After use rinse the machine very well with a jet of water and not just by flooding it and pressing the trigger.

-Always apply first the splashes with a nozzle and then the mortar mass with the other nozzles. Do not apply mortar directly on the brick. Do not use cement soda for splashing, but use slightly diluted mortar (5%).

-It is absolutely normal to initially flood the nozzles until the internal circuit is cleaned. The cleaning process should be done as follows: Unthread one nozzle at a time, and allow the air pressure to clean the respective channel for approx. 30 seconds, then thread the nozzle back in. Repeat the process for each nozzle.

-Always store the pneumatic plastering machine with the nozzles down to drain water.
