Electrodes 2.5mm MONOLITH Life Little Farmer (GF-0919)

MONOLITH electrodes are used for manual AC or DC manual arc welding in general construction or heavy duty metal profiles made of carbon or medium alloy steel. Electrodes with a diameter of 2 ... 4 mm can be used for welding in any position except vertically downwards, electrodes with a diameter of 5 mm can be used for welding in straight horizontal, horizontally downwards, transversely and vertically upwards.

Conditions of use: deposition rate 8.0-9.0 g/A.ch. Electrode consumption is 1.7 kg per kilogram of weld metal.

Specific characteristics:
This type of electrodes can weld in difficult access conditions. Thus, the gas bubbles that are released around the electric arc remove water and provide favourable conditions for welding, which makes them suitable for welding for example eroded sections of water pipes at pressures up to 1 Atm.

The MONOLITH electrodes ensure easy ignition, provide a stable and uniform arc with little spatter, easy slag separation, uniform weld formation. They are specially designed for welding of steel and metal structures subjected to static and dynamic loads, for welding of containers, pipelines, where high mechanical properties of the welded sections are required.

Wet electrodes can be reconditioned by drying for one hour at a temperature of 300-350°С.

The electrodes do not need to be calcined before welding, in case of normal storage, but if they get wet, before welding they should be dried for 60 minutes at the temperature of 110 +/-5°С.
