The GF-0898 grape crusher is an essential piece of equipment for the must making process, specially designed to break the skins and core of the berries, effectively separating the pulp from the seeds, skins and bunches. This stage - crushing and destemming - ensures the quality of the must, preserving the natural flavour of the grapes and preparing it for fermentation.

How to use:

• The crusher is placed on top of a vessel with a minimum capacity of 50 litres (barrel, barrel well) to collect the must.

• The grapes are placed in the crusher's vat and operated manually by turning the crank.

• The crusher is washed thoroughly with a jet of water before use.

• It is recommended that only grapes, without leaves or other woody parts (other than bunches), are fed.

Maintenance:

• The handle and stand are protected against corrosion by electrostatic field painting, which ensures a long service life.
