The wood splitter is a model for home use. This machine is suitable for small and medium sized jobs required in households using wood heating.

It is designed for operation at ambient temperatures ranging from + 5°C to 40°C and for installation at altitudes no more than 1000 metres above sea level is recommended. Humidity should be less than 50% at 40°C.

It can be stored or transported at ambient temperatures between -25°C and 55°C.

The wood splitter has a simple and compact structure, with a moulded casing with very good mechanical properties, all components are manufactured according to the metric system, so it is easy to use, easy to adjust and easy to repair by users.

The diameter of the splittable log is indicative - a small log can be difficult to split when it has knots or a particularly tough fibre. On the other hand, it may not be difficult to split logs with ordinary fibres, even if their diameter exceeds the maximum figure given above.

The figures given as sound emission levels are not necessarily safe working levels. Although there is a correlation between emission levels and exposure, it cannot be reliably used to determine whether or not other precautions are necessary.

Factors influencing the effective level of applied force include the characteristics of the work room, other noise sources, etc., i.e. the number of machines and other adjacent processes.

Also, the permissible level of exposure may vary from country to country. However, this information will enable the user of the machine to better assess the hazard and risk to which he or she is exposed if he or she does not use protective headphones.
